Arkansas is known for it’s natural beauty. That naturally beauty makes it easy to have areas to display lots of holiday lights! Check out these great places:
Garvan Woodland Gardens – Lights on the Landscape- This 1.8 million light display is truly breathtaking! If you have never visited Lights on the Landscape in Hot Springs, this is definitely the year to do so! There are many beautiful photo ops. There’s even a train engine covered in lights that kids can go in and ring the bell.
They are open 5-9pm every day of the week. The cost is $6 per adult, $4 for children 6-12, children under 6 are free. Also, this is a walk through display (which takes a couple of hours to see all of it), but for $5 you can rent a cart for those that cannot walk it. This is probably the best light display I’ve ever seen.
Woody Sherwood Forest’s Enchanted Forest and Holiday Trail of Lights – This is a 1.5 mile drive through display with beautifully animated displays. They are open 6-9 pm. There is no fee for this display, but donations are accepted at the end.
Holiday Lights at Burns Park – Over 40 displays located in North Little Rock. This is another drive thru display. Each car is $5, multi passenger vans $10, motor coaches $20.
North Hills Neighborhood in North Little Rock – This neighborhood is a well decorated neighborhood. It’s definitely worth the drive if your are in the area. They even decorate the golf course.
Hurricane Lake subdivision in Bryant – This is another great neighborhood to drive through. Some of these house really go all out. Last year there were a couple with music stations you could tune into that went a long with the lights.
If you know of any great light displays, why don’t you leave a comment to share with others?
